About the Race
The K5K is a family focused run/walk/push designed to get the entire community involved! Our flat course is nestled in the cozy, neighborhood streets of Kirkwood and promises to be a FAST, easy, and refreshing 5K. All proceeds for the 2013 K5K will benefit BackPack Beginnings.
BackPack Beginnings
BackPack Beginnings is a local non-profit organization founded to meet the most basic needs of underprivileged children in Guilford County through the use of backpacks. They believe that every child, whether suffering from hunger or abuse, deserves the support that they are ready and willing to give.
